The Calgary community is a vital component to WinSport Canada’s year-round success and for that reason the Park takes great pride in giving back to the community when and where appropriate.
WinSport Canada receives dozens of requests each week, which the Park is more than willing to review, and ultimately accommodate. In reviewing the multitude of community requests for donations, the following protocol must be met:
- All requests must be received in writing – via e-mail at least one month prior to the event date or by the date the donation is expected.
- Donation requests that are youth focused and associated with sport groups will be given preference.
- Donation requests which are not youth focused and associated with sport or active living will receive an acknowledgment letter. We encourage your organization to review our criteria and submit, in the future, taking our parameters into consideration.
- Organizations will be eligible for a donation only once per calendar year.
- Due to our non-profit status, we are limited in the number of donation requests which can be fulfilled within a calendar year. WinSport Canada may have exhausted its fulfillment quota and is unable to process your request at this time.
