WinSport Canada is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the first ever Ball Hockey Tournament September 4 and 5, 2010 in the main parking lot of Canada Olympic Park. This event will follow a standard four-on-four ball hockey format with separate divisions to ensure everyone can get involved.
In addition to fenced in rinks, we are pleased to offer a Championship Rink complete with boards and announcers where each Adult Competitive team will have at least one chance to play during the round robin and where all Divisional Finals will be played.
The winning teams in each category will receive a prize package courtesy of Hockey Canada's generous support.
This event is made possible through your participation and our valued sponsors including: Molson Coors Canada, CTV Calgary, Hockey Canada, X92.9 and Colossovision. Net proceeds go towards supporting sport through the CANADA WINS campaign - Building Facilities that Build Champions.
WinSport Canada, soon to be the new home of the Athletic Ice Complex and Hockey Canada, welcomes hockey to the park in its purest form - on the street!
